For starting locks: Apply to damp section hair. Place the comb in the section and twist clockwise to from a coil. Continue through the entire head. Once complete, sit under dryer until hair is dry.
To maintain locks: After total body earth shampoo, apply lock it up the unlocked hair near the scalp. Use fingertips or palm rolling technique to twist new growth clockwise. Use a clip to hold the section in place lock it up stops frizz.
As a styling gel: Use on wet., or damp or dry natural hair to define curl patterns and control frizz. Use on transitioning and chemically processed hair to slick back or into an up-do.
